About The Position

- Develop and implement positive behaviour support plans to enhance the quality of life for clients with complex support needs
- Provide training and ongoing support to clients, families and support staff to ensure effective implementation of behaviour support strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including allied health professionals, to deliver tailored, evidence-based interventions
- Maintain detailed client records, write comprehensive reports and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures

Candidate Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills

- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Nursing or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing positive behaviour support plans for individuals with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a solutions-focused approach
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a person-centered approach to service delivery
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and handle a varied caseload effectively
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel within the local area as required
