Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-energy, inclusive, and safe group fitness classes (such as Les Mills or other certified group disciplines) to gym members and local residents.
Provide excellent front-line customer service, ensuring all class participants feel welcomed, supported, and correctly oriented.
Demonstrate and explain correct exercise techniques, modifying movements confidently to accommodate varying fitness levels and injuries.
Safely operate, inspect, and handle a wide range of commercial fitness, audio, and gym equipment, ensuring all items are properly cleaned and maintained.
Proactively manage class timeframes, group dynamics, and environmental conditions to maintain a safe, highly motivating studio floor.
Adhere strictly to facility safety protocols, injury reporting lines, and standard municipal occupational risk management policies.
Liaise constructively with internal recreation center staff, management, and community health teams to optimize class schedules.

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications & Accreditations: Must hold a current accredited Fitness Instructor Certificate III or Group Exercise Leader (GEL) qualification. A relevant Les Mills certification or specialized class training credential is highly desirable.
Safety & Compliance Tickets: Must hold a current Applied First Aid Certificate (or equivalent) and a valid Western Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Demonstrated practical experience safely utilizing, setting up, and maintaining commercial-grade group fitness equipment.
