Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and respectful support to residents in a residential aged-care environment.
• Assist residents with their day-to-day care needs in accordance with individual care requirements.
• Support residents' dignity, independence, safety and quality of life.
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, care staff and other members of the care team.
• Follow established care procedures, workplace policies and safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive, respectful and supportive care environment.

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Aged Care.
• Certificate in Disability, where applicable.
• Nursing students currently studying are also encouraged to apply.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to supporting older people.
• Reliable and professional work attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team.
• Willingness to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
