Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and implement early childhood learning experiences tailored to children's individual development, interests, and needs.
  • Supervise children safely across indoor and outdoor learning environments, ensuring active risk mitigation and constant care.
  • Collaborate productively with room leaders, support staff, and co-educators to maintain efficient day-to-day room operations.
  • Communicate warmly, effectively, and professionally with parents, guardians, and families regarding daily updates and child development milestones.
  • Uphold complete legislative compliance in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and education-focused regulations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, hygienic, and highly welcoming learning setups, play spaces, and equipment configurations.

Skills & Requirements

  • Early Childhood Development: Sound understanding of early education pedagogy, childhood milestone tracking, and inclusive framework applications.
  • Interpersonal Communication: Strong team-based collaboration capacities alongside a sensitive, approachable customer-service demeanor when engaging families.
  • Qualification Requirement: Must hold a completed, verified Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
