Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily domestic cleaning and thorough housekeeping within accommodation rooms (dongas).
• Support commercial kitchen operations and dining room facilities, assisting with basic food handling and ingredient preparation.
• Deliver welcoming, high-quality customer service within the on-site tavern, retail outlet, and common areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain mine-site offices, outdoor facilities, and communal recreational hubs.
• Commit to a rigorous roster layout executing physically active shifts lasting between 10 to 11 hours per day.

Skills & Requirements

• Physical Resilience: Excellent physical fitness with the clear capacity to stand, lift, bend, and comfortably manage long 11-hour shifts in hot, extreme weather conditions.
• Remote Adaptability: Strong personal motivation and the capability to live and work safely within demanding, isolating, and fast-paced remote environments.
• Customer Service: Enthusiastic interpersonal habits to build positive relationships with village residents and site personnel.
• Mandatory Requirements:
  • Ability to travel safely to and from the Cairns FIFO departure terminal
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including comprehensive drug and alcohol screening
