About This Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH) within the Clinical Informatics and Innovation Directorate (CIID) – SACCaN Data and Intelligence team in Adelaide. This senior-level position is responsible for leading and managing complex business analysis programs, projects and services that support critical ICT applications and digital health solutions across the SA Health portfolio.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners and technical teams to understand complex business requirements, develop innovative solutions, improve business processes and support effective digital transformation within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex business analysis projects, programs and services across SA Health ICT environments.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate complex customer needs into effective system specifications and solutions.
  • Develop business processes, workflows and improvement strategies to support digital health initiatives.
  • Provide expert business analysis consultancy to stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists.
  • Identify and evaluate business changes, risks and impacts associated with system requirements and technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives within healthcare data and intelligence services.
  • Contribute to coordinated project management approaches and delivery outcomes.

Skills & Requirements

  • Business Analysis Experience: Demonstrated experience leading complex business analysis activities within large organisations.
  • ICT Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital systems, ICT applications, business processes and technology solutions.
  • Requirements Management: Ability to gather, analyse and document complex stakeholder requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders, technical teams and business users.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate risks, impacts and opportunities for improvement.
  • Project Delivery: Experience supporting large-scale programs, system implementations or transformation projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong consultation capability.
