About This Opportunity
SA Pharmacy is seeking motivated and qualified Pharmacists to join its 2026 Candidate Pool across multiple locations in South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to build your clinical pharmacy career within one of Australia's leading public healthcare systems while providing safe, evidence-based medication management services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
As a Pharmacist, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimise medication therapy, deliver professional pharmaceutical advice, support medication safety initiatives, and contribute to high-quality patient care. You'll also participate in clinical education, patient counselling, medication reviews and continuous quality improvement activities.
Successful candidates will join a statewide talent pool for 12-month full-time contracts and may be appointed across various SA Pharmacy sites as vacancies arise.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with medication dispensing and distribution for hospital patients.
Provide reception and cashier support within the pharmacy.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
Support pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
Maintain a safe, organised and efficient pharmacy environment.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent recognised qualification.
Eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Successful completion of an approved pre-registration training program.
Demonstrated clinical knowledge of contemporary pharmacy practice.
Ability to deliver safe, ethical and patient-centred pharmaceutical care.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
