SA Medical Imaging is inviting experienced and patient-focused Sonographers to join its 2026 Sonographer Talent Pool based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. As a Sonographer, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging technology to support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing patient care. Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations across a broad range of clinical specialties.
Operate specialised ultrasound equipment and advanced imaging technology safely and effectively.
Produce accurate diagnostic images to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Apply advanced clinical judgement when performing complex ultrasound procedures.

Skills & Requirements
Current ASAR Accreditation as a Sonographer.
Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent recognised qualification.
Minimum 3 years' experience performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a hospital or clinical environment.
Demonstrated ability to independently perform complex ultrasound procedures.
High level clinical judgement and technical competence in diagnostic imaging.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
