About This Opportunity

WA Country Health Service is seeking qualified and enthusiastic Dietitians for Senior Dietitian positions across regional Western Australia.

As a Senior Dietitian, you will plan, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate dietetic services for a designated caseload of inpatient, outpatient and/or community clients within a regional location. The role provides an opportunity to broaden your clinical and professional skills while undertaking senior-level supervisory and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate dietetic services for an allocated client caseload.
• Deliver high-quality dietetic assessment, treatment and evaluation services.
• Provide dietetic services to inpatient, outpatient and/or community clients.
• Monitor and evaluate client outcomes and dietetic interventions.
• Apply advanced clinical knowledge and skills across a range of dietetic practices.
• Undertake supervisory responsibilities as a senior member of the clinical team.
• Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate dietetic services and initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Undertake relevant administrative duties associated with the delivery of dietetic services.
• Support the delivery of consumer-centred healthcare within regional communities.

Essential Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Dietetics.
• Evidence of, or eligibility for, full membership of Dietitians Australia (DA) as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).
• Relevant clinical experience with high-level knowledge and skills across dietetic assessment, treatment and evaluation practices.
• Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership, staff supervision and clinical governance.
• Experience planning, developing, implementing and evaluating dietetic services or initiatives.
• Understanding and application of quality improvement principles.
• Availability to commence employment within the recruitment pool validity period, before 20 August 2027.
• Valid Australian work rights.
