About This Opportunity

An excellent opportunity is available for a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join the Port Lincoln Prison Health Service within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Enrolled Nurse will provide direct patient care under the guidance of Registered Nurses while contributing to positive health outcomes through assessment, monitoring, documentation and person-centred nursing practices. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care to patients within the Port Lincoln Prison Health Service.
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes in health status and promptly communicate concerns to Registered Nurses and healthcare professionals.
• Support Registered Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary healthcare team in delivering effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with professional nursing standards and legislative requirements.
• Build respectful and therapeutic relationships with patients while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities and support continuous improvement of healthcare services.

Skills & Requirements

• Professional Registration: Registered or eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold a current practising certificate.
• Nursing Experience: Demonstrated experience providing nursing care within a healthcare environment.
• Clinical Knowledge: Sound understanding of nursing standards, professional responsibilities and healthcare legislation.
