Sodexo is seeking dedicated fitness professionals to join our Greater Australia portfolio as a Health & Lifestyle Coordinator on a multi-site basis. This casual, Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) opportunity departs directly from Townsville, operating on an structured 2:1 roster (2 weeks on-site, 1 week off). In this rewarding role, you will act as a key wellness role model on remote villages, helping to create a welcoming "home away from home" for workers. Your mission is to actively design, coordinate, and deliver vibrant recreation programs, group exercise classes, physical rehabilitation, and individual wellness initiatives to keep our client's on-site workforce safe, active, and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and take physical responsibility for all health, fitness, and lifestyle initiatives at remote worker accommodation villages.
Facilitate a wide variety of engaging group fitness classes, including stretching sessions, walking clubs, and circuit classes.
Design and execute targeted on-site injury prevention programs, health promotion campaigns, and physical rehabilitation support for recovering employees.
Provide supportive, individual wellness counseling and health coaching to help workers maintain physical and mental wellbeing.
Develop, organize, and oversee diverse social events, sports leagues, and recreational activities to strengthen community connection at the villages.
Maintain highly positive customer relations, showing excellence in service delivery and remote facility standards.
Skills & Requirements
Fitness & Wellness Expertise: Strong capability in coordinating multiple health initiatives, demonstrating high-quality group class leadership across differing fitness levels.
Interpersonal Communication: Outstanding communication skills to motivate remote workforces, build professional relationships, and provide compassionate coaching.
Advantageous Skills: Proven ability to teach Yoga or Mat Pilates classes is highly regarded but not mandatory.
Mandatory Requirements:
Nationally recognized Certificate III & IV in Fitness
Current National Accreditation as a qualified fitness instructor (e.g., Fitness Australia or equivalent)
Valid CPR and Apply First Aid certification
Current Australian Class C Manual Driver's Licence
