Job Summary

• Required Education Level: Currently holds or who is eligible to hold a current practicing certificate and eligible registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients requiring renal dialysis services.
• Deliver haemodialysis and haemodiafiltration treatments while monitoring patient conditions and responding to clinical requirements.
• Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate individualised patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and external services to provide holistic patient support.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with SA Health policies and professional standards.
• Support patient education and promote understanding of renal treatment plans.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities, clinical education, and service development initiatives.
• Provide respectful and culturally appropriate care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Skills & Requirements

• Professional Registration: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) with a current practising certificate.
• Clinical Experience: Demonstrated nursing experience with the ability to deliver safe and effective patient care.
• Renal Nursing Capability: Experience in renal dialysis nursing is desirable, with willingness to develop specialised renal skills.
• Clinical Decision Making: Ability to assess patient needs, prioritise care, and respond effectively to changing clinical situations.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
