SA Pathology is seeking motivated Technical Officers to join its Microbiology Laboratory Talent Pool across South Australia. As a Technical Officer, you will perform routine microbiology laboratory testing using established procedures, contribute to bacteriology laboratory operations, participate in technical projects, and work collaboratively with experienced laboratory scientists to deliver reliable diagnostic results that support patient care.
Successful applicants will join a 12-month talent pool and may be appointed to temporary or permanent vacancies across SA Pathology laboratories as positions become available.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine microbiology laboratory testing using approved laboratory procedures.
Assist with bacteriology and infectious diseases laboratory operations.

Essential Requirements
Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical or laboratory discipline.
Minimum 1 year laboratory experience in microbiology, pathology or related scientific laboratory environment is preferred.
Demonstrated technical laboratory knowledge and practical laboratory skills.
Ability to follow laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures.
