Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and document premium, reflective play-based educational programs tailored for children aged 0 to 5 years.
  • Provide strong room leadership, manage daily workflows, and mentor room educators with varying experience levels.
  • Maintain uncompromising vigilance regarding child health, safety, and hygiene, strictly aligning with national regulations and ethical boundaries.
  • Satisfy all statutory operational criteria required to act confidently as a designated Person in Day-to-Day Charge of the service.

Skills & Requirements

  • Must hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent degree approved by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
  • Hold and maintain active professional registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
  • Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Must hold a current New South Wales Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
  • Posses a complete National Child Safety Training.
  • Possess (or retain immediate capacity to obtain) approved First Aid, Emergency Asthma Management, Anaphylaxis Management training, and Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025).
