Job Summary
Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a practical, solutions-focused plumbing industry professional to join their Development Infrastructure & Growth branch in the critical role of Plumbing Inspector. Key Responsibilities

- Provide highly practical technical advice, interpretation of codes, and constructive guidance to licensed plumbers, builders, and community stakeholders.

Skills & Requirements
- Substantial, hands-on practical plumbing and drainage industry experience backed by a robust understanding of modern building processes.
- Working knowledge of standard plumbing and drainage legislation, National Construction Codes (NCC), and Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3500 series).
- Must possess a valid General Construction Induction Card (White Card) or show the immediate capacity to secure one prior to formal induction.
- Must hold a current, unencumbered Australian 'C' Class Driver’s License to enable solo field inspection site visits.
- Capacity and willingness to successfully obtain all necessary local government compliance inspector accreditations within the initial 12 months of employment.
- Prior exposure to municipal operations, building surveying, or regulatory frameworks is highly regarded but not mandatory.
