Key Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, relationship-centred nursing care.
Support consumers living with severe dementia and complex behavioural symptoms.
Contribute to individual case management and care planning.
Assess consumers and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions and support programs.
Evaluate consumer progress and contribute to ongoing care planning.

Essential Requirements
Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate.
Demonstrated competence in nursing practice.
Demonstrated competence caring for people living with dementia and associated behavioural and psychological symptoms is desirable.
Knowledge and application of relevant mental health nursing standards.
Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to take on different perspectives and respond constructively to feedback.
